JAKARTA – The occupants of the Tanah Tinggi flat on Jalan Baladewa, RT 011/RW 014, Tanah Tinggi Village, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta, scattered because they fled the fire that ravaged the building on the 4th floor.

Firefighters first received reports of the fire at 15:26 WIB.

"Currently it is in the cooling process, the situation is red," said Public Relations of the DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service, Mulat Wijayanto, when confirmed about the flat fire, Sunday, October 10.

Mulat said the extinguishing process was carried out by 52 personnel. Evacuation was also supported by 13 fire fighting vehicles. The officers were present at the crime scene since 15.32.

Until the news was published, the cause of the fire was not known. However, there are no reports of casualties due to the fire incident at the Tanah Tinggi Flats.
