Youth Claims To Be Robbed In The East Flood Canal Turns Out To Be A Hoax, Reporters Threatened With Criminal

JAKARTA - From the results of the investigation and TKP processing of the report of a robbery case in the East Flood Canal (KBT), Pondok Kopi Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, joint officers from the Resmob Polda Metro Jaya and Polres Metro Jakarta Timur discovered new facts.

The reporter named Aulia Rafiqi (23) who admitted that he was a victim of robbery gang robbers admitted that the drug police at the East Flood Canal (KBT) turned out to be lying.

From her confession at the Resmob Polda Metro Jaya, Aulia Rafiqi admitted that her reporting of the robbery case at the East Jakarta Metro Police was a lie.

The maker of the fake police report, Aulia Rafiqi, said that what actually happened was that she was a victim of a robbery in Bekasi related to women's orders via the Michat application.

"Initially, I chatted with a woman and opened an open meeting at the Kemang View Bekasi apartment, 9th floor. Then a fight broke out. Because there was no agreement, finally my cellphone and motorbike were taken by the female friends," admitted Aulia Rafiqi.

He also apologized to the Indonesian National Police for the false reporting he had made at the East Jakarta Metro Police.

"I apologize profusely for my lies to the police of the Republic of Indonesia," he said.

Until now, the case is still being handled by joint officers from the Resmob Polda Metro Jaya and Polres Metro Jakarta Timur. The case is still being developed and further investigation regarding the false report.

Based on information gathered from the East Jakarta Metro Police, the maker of a false (police) report will be charged with Article 242 of the Criminal Code. His actions were considered to be disturbing to the public.
