JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Andika Perkasa motivates health workers (nakes) to continue serving humanity.

"Continue to serve humanity," said Andika during a visit to several hospitals (RS) belonging to the Indonesian Army, quoted by Antara, Friday, October 8.

Accompanied by his wife Hetty Andika Perkasa, Kasad Andika focused on asking about the health conditions of the health workers and civil servants (PNS) in each hospital specifically dealing with COVID-19 patients.

"If there are positive ones, they will immediately register, it's up to which hospital is closest," Andika said as quoted by Antara.

At the Vastenburg Fort Field Hospital in Surakarta, General Andika accompanied by the Head of the Field Hospital Lieutenant Colonel CKM dr. Ardianto.

"We have never refused patients, both TNI families and civilians," said Ardianto.

Meanwhile, a civil servant named Handayani said the field hospital facilities had very complete equipment. Even though it's only in a tent, there is an emergency room, mini ICU, X-ray room, and a laboratory

General Andika's next visit at Dr. Hospital. Soetarto in Yogyakarta. Director of Lt. Col. CKM Hospital, dr. Zamroni reported that health workers who had close contact and tested positive with mild symptoms were self-isolated, while those who were moderate and severe were hospitalized.

In addition, General Andika also thanked General Andika for the support from General Andika and his wife in the form of PPE, logistics, and vitamins which really helped increase the body's endurance of health workers.

"This visit increases the morale of health workers, this is not the first visit, but this is the umpteenth time," said Zamroni.

In addition to the two hospitals, General Andika also visited Wijaya Kusuma Hospital in Purwekerto, Bhakti Wira Tamtama Hospital in Semarang, and dr. Soedjono in Magelang.

During the visit, General Andika also greeted the participants of the COVID-19 vaccination at the TNI AD hospital.
