The West Kalimantan Attorney General's Office Confiscates A Series Of Assets Convicts Of Corruption Insurance Jiwasraya

PONTIANAK - The AGO's Asset Recovery Center (PPA) team together with the West Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office confiscated a number of motor vehicle assets and land in the corruption case of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero). The assets in the name of the convict Heru Hidayat are located in Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan.

"In this case, we facilitate the PPA Team of the Indonesian Attorney General and his entourage to carry out security activities (blocking) and assessment of state confiscated assets in the corruption case of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) on behalf of the convict Heru Hidayat in Kubu Raya Regency based on the decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia. Number: 2931 K/Pid.Sus/2021 dated August 24, 2021," said West Kalimantan Attorney General Masyhudi in Pontianak, quoted by Antara, Friday, October 8.

He explained that the installation of confiscation signs (land/building objects) or confiscated by the state as well as the confiscation of car and motorcycle units led by the Head of Database and Information Exchange, Ronal H Bakara and assisted by a team from BPN Kubu Raya for measuring and determining the coordinates of objects and a team from the Pontianak KPKNL who conducted an assessment of the object.

On Monday, October 4, his party confiscated two units of two-wheeled vehicles, namely the Honda Supra Fit X and Suzuki Skydrive, then three units of four-wheeled vehicles, namely the Mitsubishi Pajero, Toyota Innova, and Toyota Hilux cars.

The handover of assets was handed over directly by PT Inti Kapuas international employees to the PPA team by making an official report on the delivery of the state's booty, he said.

Then, Tuesday, October 5, the team's activities were divided into two, namely the team that carried out security for 18 parcels of land based on the Building Use Rights Certificate (SHGB/SHP) in Ambangah Village, Kubu Raya Regency.

Meanwhile, the team that handled the nine parcels of land based on the Building Use Rights Certificate (SHGB) in Kuala Mandor A Village, Kubu Raya Regency.

The land object which is confiscated from the corruption case of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya is registered in the ownership of PT Inti Kapuas Internasional, which is engaged in arowana fish breeding.

"Securing confiscated assets followed by measuring and evaluating objects is one of the important stages in efforts to recover state financial losses in PT Jiwasraya's corruption crime," he said.

After measuring and assessing the assets, it is continued with the installation of signposts and auctions.
