Rizky Billar Reports Haters About Defamation, Lesti Joins The Investigation

JAKARTA - Artist Rizky Billar reported haters to Polda Metro Jaya. This report relates to allegations of defamation.

"Muhammad Rizky reported about defamation through electronic media," said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Friday, October 8.

In the report, Rizky Billar felt that his reputation had been defamed through social media. Because, one of the Instagram accounts uploaded photos and insulting narrations on July 20.

"This account posted the photo of the reported party and wrote an article stating that this reporter was defamed," said Yusri.

In addition, Yusri continued, in the reporting process Rizky Billar included several pieces of evidence. In fact, the investigative team has also investigated him and Lesti as his wife.

"We have investigated the complainant, because this is still in the investigation stage, then there are witnesses, here are sister L and brother AR with evidence of screenshots of the account," said Yusri.

Meanwhile, the report was registered with the number LP/B/3629/VII/2021/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA, dated July 27, 2021. Thus, the reported party is suspected of violating Article 27 Paragraph 3 in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph 3 of Law Number 9 of 2016 concerning ITE.
