DEPOK – The charity box at the SDIT Uswatun Hasanah Mosque in Depok was burglarized. The action was discovered on Thursday, October 7, at night, by the local mosque administrator. Sadly, the incident coincided with the presence of the Mayor of Depok, Mohammad Idris, to one of the residents' houses to conduct the recitation.

"It is outrageous and commendable for the act of dismantling or prying the mosque donation box from residents or worshipers who donated money, even though the value is not much," said Head of SDIT Uswatun Hasanah Mosque, Abdul Rosid, Thursday, October 7, evening.

Abdul said, the theft of the charity box money inside the SDIT Uswatun Hasanah Mosque on Jl. Arridho No. The incident occurred at around 19:30 WIB, after the residents had performed the Isha prayer. The condition of the mosque, said Abdul, is already quiet.

"We and other administrators, including the Mayor of Depok, Mohammad Idris, are conducting recitations in a resident's house not far from the location of the mosque," said Abdul.

Abdul also knew that the charity box had been burglarized after he returned home from the Koran with the Mayor of Depok, Mohammad Idris, in one of the houses in RW 04, Jatimulya, Cilodong.

"After the recitation program, I immediately saw the condition of the mosque which was only 15 meters away from the place of recitation. I was surprised that the charity box which was thought to contain only a few hundred thousand rupiahs had been damaged and the sides were made of zinc. This has been three times the mosque charity box at SDIT Uswatun Hasanah burglarized," explained Abdul.
