Residents Of Ciracas Panic There Is A 1.5-meter Cobra Entering The House

JAKARTA - Head of the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. of Operations, Gatot Sulaeman and his members evacuated a cobra that had entered a residential area.

The venomous snake, which is not yet known where it came from, was successfully secured by Gulkarmat officers.

The presence of the snake had shocked residents on Jalan Printing RT 10/01, Ciracas Village, Ciracas District, East Jakarta.

"Yes, so we received a report from Mr. Maryanto that a cobra was found in the yard of the house, on Jalan Percetakan, Ciracas," he said when contacted by reporters, Thursday, October 7.

When the officers arrived at the location of the resident's yard, the officers had time to look for the cobra's whereabouts. After getting the presence of the dangerous snake, officers only needed about 10 minutes to tame the poisonous snake.

"The team managed to evacuate a cobra with a length of approximately 1.5 meters," he said.

Furthermore, the snake is inserted into a container that has been prepared by the officer.

"Thankfully there were no casualties, 12 residents in the house survived. We managed to evacuate the cobra," he said.
