President Jokowi Becomes Inspector Of TNI Komcad Appointment Ceremony

JAKARTA - The President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo will be the Inspector of the Ceremony of Determining the Reserve Components of the TNI, at Suparlan Airport, Special Forces Education and Training Center (Pusdiklatpassus) Kopassus, Batujajar, Bandung, West Java, Thursday, October 7

Reporting from the Ministry of Defense website, this event will be held by maintaining social distance and strict health protocols.

All participants of the ceremony, namely Reserve Component students who for three months have been practicing together in quarantine without any interaction with outside parties.

Meanwhile, each student has received two COVID-19 vaccine injections and periodically conducts swab tests every week. Participants also took a PCR swab test the day before.

Ceremony guests are required to have been vaccinated twice and perform a PCR swab test the day before. The distance between guests during the event is arranged according to health protocols.

The reserve component is a voluntary (non-mandatory) program mandated by Law no. 23 of 2019 concerning the Management of National Resources for National Defense (PSDN). The mobilization of reserve components can only be carried out by the President with the approval of the DPR RI, and under the control of the TNI Commander.
