5 ASN Kemenkum HAM Central Sulawesi Fired Because Of Drug Cases

PALU - The Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkum HAM) in Central Sulawesi (Sulteng) has fired five state civil servants (ASN) who were involved in drugs.

The dismissal was carried out during a national apple ceremony to the prison and detention house in Central Sulawesi "BERSINAR" or free from drugs, which took place at the Palu Prison, Wednesday, October 6.

The five prison employees who were fired were from the cities of Palu, Kolonodale and Parigi Moutong. Four prison officials and another from the State Assets Confiscation House (Rupbasan).

The five employees who were fired were Rafliandi, Febri Ramadhan Saputra, Tommy Heryanto, David Hasinolan Siahaan, and Rahmad Arsyad.

The Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Central Sulawesi Lilik Sujandi said the dismissal was a form of firmness in fighting the spread of drugs inside and outside prisons involving its employees.

"This firm stance in the form of dismissal will be carried out if there are employees involved in drug crimes. They will even be sent to Nusakambangan," he said as quoted by Antara.

Lilik asserted, how can cure the inmates from drugs, if there are unscrupulous officers involved in drugs.

"We are not playing games in eradicating these drugs," he said.

In addition to the dismissal ceremony, there were also awareness and compliance declarations and movements, Aftercare Community, Warung Kebangsaan Hello Family and Me, as well as the inauguration of anti-drug activists, anti-drug volunteers, anti-drug task force and recovery agents.

Two of the five people who were fired were employees at the Palu Prison, last week they were secured by the police at the Palu Prison Housing Complex. Both were arrested by the police after they were found to be in possession of nearly 4 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine.
