"The average recovery rate is 52.47 percent. Of the 34 provinces in Indonesia, 23 provinces have a recovery rate above the national figure. This is good news," Wiku said in a press conference broadcast on the YouTube account of the Presidential Secretariat. , Tuesday, July 21.

Meanwhile, for 11 other provinces, said Wiku, the recovery rate was still below the national figure. "This is what we should encourage so that the recovery rate increases on average," he said.

In his presentation, Wiku said that the region with the highest percentage of positive case cures was led by West Kalimantan with a total of 97.77 percent. Furthermore, in second place are the Bangka Belitung Islands with a figure reaching 94.89 percent.

Then Central Sulawesi reached 89.8 percent; North Kalimantan reached 88.89 percent, and Riau Islands at 87.25 percent.

Meanwhile, the highest recovery rate was led by DKI Jakarta as many as 10,405 people and followed by East Java 9,330 people.

Furthermore, in the third position is South Sulawesi with a cure rate of 4,198 people, Central Java 3,183 people, and West Java 2,174 people.
