What Did The BK DPRD Chairman Do In Response To Prasetyo Edi Marsudi's Report?

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Honorary Board (BK) of the DKI DPRD, Ahmad Nawawi, said that his party had held an inaugural meeting regarding the reports of seven factions against the Chairman of the DKI DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi. The inaugural meeting was only in the form of formulating a follow-up mechanism for the report of the 7 factions rejecting the Formula-E interpellation.

"We received the report on Wednesday. It was finished around 3.30. So we had a meeting that afternoon until sunset. The first meeting of BK members was to develop a follow-up mechanism like what," he told reporters, Sunday, October 3.

Even so, his party did not know exactly whether the same report was submitted to the Secretary of the Council (Sekwan) of the DKI DPRD. This is because, in the rules and regulations of the DKI DPRD, every report submitted to the BK must also be submitted to the Secretary of the DKI DPRD.

"Because the Secretary is also the secretary of the honorary body (BK). We don't know yet whether the report has also been submitted to the Secretary," he said.

He said the Sekwan must know the reports from the seven factions. The seven factions must also report their complaints to the Sekwan. Not only for BK. Sekwan, he said, is an integral part of the BK even though his status is not a member of the BK.

"Yes. It must be informed to the Secretary of State as well. He understands for sure. He is the secretary of the BK even though he is not a member of the BK. So, wherever the report comes from, both external and internal, it must also go through the Secretary of State," he said.

He added that his party had not yet arrived at the substance of the examination of the 7 factions' reports.

"It hasn't arrived yet (at the substance examination). Yesterday the BK members were just discussing. Just discussing this report. In the future, what will this be like, what will this be discussed. Maybe Tuesday we will have a meeting, "he said.

He said that at the inaugural BK DPRD meeting, his party was only limited to internal discussions regarding the mechanism for following up on reports. He said that the decision making in the BK was carried out jointly with nine BK members.

"Maybe on Tuesday we will have another meeting. It's a long process. Every time we make decisions, it's impossible for me to do it alone. I will definitely discuss it with the 9 members of the BK. Later, there must be a conclusion," he said.
