PAPUA - The West Papua Police released the arrest of 5 members of the KNPB group that attacked the Posramil Kisor Maybrat who killed four members of the Indonesian Army.

The Head of Public Relations of the West Papua Police, Kombes Adam Erwindi, said that of the five people who were detained, three were fugitives who were on the wanted list (DPO) and the other two were new suspects resulting from field development by the investigative team.

"Three DPOs arrested are in the names of Roby Yaam, Amos Kii, and Agus Yaam. Meanwhile, the two new suspects who have been arrested are Yakobus Worait and Lukas Kii," said Adam Erwindi at the West Papua Police Headquarters in Manokwari, Antara, Thursday, September 30. .

He said that of the 19 DPOs set in the Kisor Posramil attack, five people had been arrested with the addition of two new suspects, bringing the total to 7 people.

"The team is still hunting for the other 14 DPOs, so it is hoped that the community will cooperate to report if they meet or recognize the faces of the DPOs who have not been caught," said the Head of Public Relations.

The seven suspects were detained at the South Sorong Police detention house. They will be charged with Article 340 subsidiary 338 of the Criminal Code concerning premeditated murder, with a threat of life imprisonment.
