Check Your Account! Bogor City Government Distributes Rp200 Thousand Non-Cash Food Aid For 602 Families

BOGOR - The Bogor City Government, West Java Province, received an additional non-cash food aid allocation of IDR 120,400,000 for 602 beneficiary families in September 2021.

"Everything was disbursed through BNI, we only received reports, we don't know in the future there will be additional funds or not," said Head of the Bogor City Social Service, Fahrudin when contacted from Bogor, Antara, Thursday, September 30.

Food social assistance in the form of non-cash from the government is given to the beneficiary families every month through an electronic account to buy food at grocery traders or e-warong in collaboration with government partner banks.

According to Fahrudin, each beneficiary family each month receives non-cash food assistance worth Rp. 200,000.

The assistance is channeled to the beneficiary's family account through a bank appointed by the government. Beneficiary families can use the financial assistance to buy food at an e-warong or designated merchant.

Fahrudin said that in Bogor City there were 50,629 families receiving non-cash food assistance since early 2021. In September 2021, the number of beneficiary families was added to 602 families.

"The process does not go through us, we only help send data to the Ministry," said Fahrudin.
