Catherine Wilson Drug Abuse Suspect

JAKARTA - The status of Catherine Wilson, who was arrested by the police for an alleged case of methamphetamine drug abuse, has officially changed. The police have named Catherine as a suspect.

"(Catherine's status) has been made a suspect," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus, Saturday, July 18.

Not only is Catherine Wilson a suspect. The police also named the man with the initials J - who was arrested with Catherine - as a suspect. J is the security guard at the model's house.

In fact, he often helped Catherine buy methamphetamine-type drugs to a man who was still at large. Catherine admits that she has been consuming this item for two months.

"We are still investigating (the motive for consuming crystal meth)," said Yusri.

Catherine and J are subject to Article 112 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 114 paragraph (2) of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. The threat of punishment of up to five years in prison.

Artist Catherine Wilson was arrested by the Jakarta Police's Detective Directorate for the use of methamphetamine drugs. Catherine was arrested at her home, Friday 17 July morning. Catherine was arrested while alone at home.

During this arrest, the police succeeded in confiscating evidence in the form of crystal methamphetamine. He said, the crystal methamphetamine is stored in two packages.

Catherine is currently being detained at the Polda Metro Jaya Narcotics Detention Center for further investigation and legal proceedings.
