He said a team of six personnel had been dispatched to the scene at around 19:00 WIB to evacuate.

Asnedi explained that the location of the children was known, they could not cross because of the high water flow of the river.
As of 20.50 WIB, the Basarnas team along with other relevant agencies were still at the location for the evacuation process for the seven children estimated to be 10-15 years old.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Padang Barlius confirmed the incident after receiving a report from one of the victims' families.
Barlius explained that from the information obtained, the seven children initially went fishing by crossing the river.
However, the river's flow suddenly increased due to the rain that lashed the local area on Wednesday afternoon, leaving them all trapped and unable to return home.
"In this incident, we carried out a coordination function with Basarnas and other relevant agencies to carry out the evacuation," he explained.
Barlius explained that apart from the trapped children, his party is also focusing on handling landslides in the Lubuak Paraku area, Lubuk Kilangan, which reportedly occurred on Wednesday, September 29 night.
