BOGOR - The Bogor City COVID-19 Task Force has imposed crowd patrol patrols for students who are still gathering outside school after carrying out learning activities without clear activities during the face-to-face learning trial (PTM) simultaneously for SMP and SMA/SMK equivalents Monday, October 4th.

Head of the Bogor City COVID-19 Task Force as well as Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto said monitoring of PTM trials would not only focus on standard health protocols in schools.

All heads of offices, education units and the police will collaborate to monitor student activities inside and outside the school by walking around to avoid students from crowds.

The Bogor City Government has also formed a School COVID-19 Task Force that involves OSIS members in enforcing health protocols.

"So the patrols will be carried out at vulnerable hours, we don't want new COVID-19 clusters," Bima Arya said, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, September 29.

The Deputy Chair of the Bogor City COVID-19 Task Force, the Bogor Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro, added that with this policy, schools whose students are found to be in crowds and proven to have no clear activity will be recommended to stop participating in the PTM trial.

He emphasized that patrols would take place to monitor student activities outside of school and those caught would undergo an examination by the COVID-19 Task Force team.

In the first week of the PTM trial, the COVID-19 Task Force will continue to circle school routes, both junior high and high school/vocational schools to evaluate the security policies that are needed further as needed.

Schools and students are expected to open active communication to remind compliance with health and safety protocols during PTM.

"So we don't let our children take advantage of our opportunity to get this school undisciplined," said Kombes Susatyo.
