This Is The Negligence Of 3 Criminal Investigation Unit Prison Officers Behind The Persecution Of M. Disappointed

JAKARTA - The National Police explained the disciplinary violations committed by three members of the Criminal Investigation Unit in the series of cases of persecution of Muhammad Kece. They are considered not to supervise and take care of prisoners properly.

"So the officers are not carrying out their duties as well as possible", said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Wednesday, September 29.

Of the three members, two of them are guards at the Criminal Investigation Department. They are Bripka Wandoyo Edi and Bripda Saep Sigit.

In a series of cases of alleged abuse, both did not secure the detainees. Thus, the act of persecution took place.

"The form of his actions was that the Bripka W and Bripda S prison guards did not carry out their duties to secure prisoners as well as possible, resulting in the mistreatment of the MK brothers", said Ramadhan.

Then, for another member, AKP Imam Suhondo who is the Head of the Criminal Investigation Department. He was considered to have committed a disciplinary violation because he did not monitor conditions in the prison as he had to carry out his duties.

"The Criminal Investigation Unit detention center on behalf of AKP I did not carry out the best possible supervision of members of the prison guard, resulting in the mistreatment of MK's brother", said Ramadhan.

Even though they were declared negligent in their duties, no sanctions have been given yet. The sanctions will be decided in a disciplinary hearing.

"(Sanctions) will go through a disciplinary hearing", said Ramadhan.

Previously, the National Police stated that there was an element of negligence by the Criminal Investigation Unit detention center officers behind a series of cases of alleged mistreatment of Muhammad Kece. At least three officers were deemed negligent.

"The results of the examination of the Head of the Detention Center and 2 guard officers were correct in implementing the SOP", said the Head of the Professional and Security Division Police, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.
