Chief Of Police Moves Two Generals Again In Connection With Jalan Djoko Tjandra

JAKARTA - National Police Chief, General Idham Azis, has rotated a number of high-ranking officers (Pati) in the Police. Those who were transferred included the Head of International Relations Division (Hubinter) Inspector General of Police, Napoleon Bonaparte and the Secretary of NCB Interpol Brigadier General Nugroho Wibowo.

The mutation was stated in the Chief of Police's Telegram Letter Number ST / 2076 / Vll / KEP. / 2020 dated July 17, 2020 which was signed by the Assistant for Human Resources for the Chief of Police, Inspector General Sutrisno Yudi Hermawan.

"Yes, it's true (transferred)," said Head of Public Relations of the Indonesian Police, Inspector General of the Police, Argo Yuwono, as quoted from the website of the National Police's Public Relations, Friday, July 17.

Argo conveyed that the mutation of the two was indeed related to the Djoko Tjandra road letter case. Brigjen Nugroho is suspected of violating the code of ethics for issuing a letter submitting the validity period of Djoko Tjandra's red notice. Meanwhile, Inspector General Napoleon violated the code of ethics because he neglected to supervise his members.

"Violation of the code of ethics, not controlling the supervision of the staff," said Argo.

The position of Kadiv Hubinter will be filled by Brigadier General Johanis Asadoma. Meanwhile, the position of NCB Interpol Secretary will be held by Brigadier General Amir Chandra Juli Buana.

Previously, the National Police Chief revoked the post of Head of the Coordination and Supervision Bureau (Karo Korwas) of the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo. This dismissal was after the Professional and Security Division (Propam) examined Prasetyo Utomo regarding the pass in the name of Djoko Tjandra.

In addition, the issuance of the travel letter Number: SJ / 82 / VI / 2020 / Rokorwas, dated 18 June 2020, is said to be an initiative of the high-ranking officer. On the travel letter, it was written that Djoko Tjandra left for Pontianak, West Kalimantan from Jakarta on June 19 and returned on June 22, 2020.
