Trimegah Affirms Never Manages Mutual Funds For Jiwasraya

JAKARTA - PT Trimegah Asset Management confirms that it has never issued and / or managed a Limited Participation Mutual Fund (RDPT) for the Jiwasraya insurance company.

"We have never collaborated in the management of RDPT products with Jiwasraya," said Trimegah Corporate Secretary AM Agus D. Priyambada in a written statement quoted on Friday, July 17.

He explained that as an investment manager, Trimegah Asset Management always carries out professional fund management activities in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations.

Agus said, this is reflected in the company's performance which has continued to grow positively since its establishment in 2011. Currently, Trimegah Asset Management has managed funds of IDR 16.5 trillion with customers spread across various cities in Indonesia.

"We are grateful that customer trust is very good and this is reflected in the increasing number of customers and Asset Under Management (AUM). The potential for investment in mutual funds is still very open and us," said Agus.

Agus also admitted that he is optimistic that Trimegah Asset Management's performance will continue to grow sustainably. According to him, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the potential for mutual funds is still very open and customers have the opportunity to invest in mutual funds.

This is because many mutual fund underlying assets, such as stocks, have undergone corrections so that they are below their fair prices. With Indonesia's economic fundamentals remaining prospective, in the long term, the potential for a rebound on these stocks is enormous.

"In various crises there are always opportunities and this has been proven during the 1998 and 2008 crises. Therefore, this pandemic can also be an opportunity for mutual fund customers to obtain optimal investment returns in the long term," said Agus.
