JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency has built a speed trap or shock line on Jalan Pulomas Raya, Kayu Putih Village, Pulo Gadung District, East Jakarta. The reason is, this area is often used as a motor vehicle illegal racing action.

Head of the East Jakarta Transportation Agency, Dody Setiyono, said that the speed trap construction, which was planned to be carried out last night, was delayed due to rain. So just this morning, the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency did the work.

"Because it rained last night, the road was wet (construction started) earlier at 09.00," he said when contacted by reporters, Monday, September 27.

The construction of a speed trap according to the regulation is a follow-up to the protests of cyclists who were disturbed because the speed trap was previously made by local residents who were considered too high and endangering other road users.

For the time being, a total of seven speed traps have been built which are located on two sections of Jalan Pulo Mas Raya, both those leading to Jalan Pacuan Kuda Raya and Jalan Jend. Ahmad Yani.

Speed traps or extreme shock lines on Jalan Pulo Mas Raya, Kayu Putih Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta make road users restless.
