Search 3 Locations Including Investment Office PTSP Probolinggo, KPK Find Documents For Sale And Purchase Of Position Of Village Head

JAKARTA - Investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found documents while searching three locations in Probolinggo Regency from Friday, September 24 to Saturday, September 25.

This search was carried out in connection with the bribery case of buying and selling positions involving the inactive Probolinggo Regent Puput Tantriana Sari and her husband, Hasan Aminuddin.

Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, said the search on Friday, September 24 was carried out at the Probolinggo Regency Investment and PTSP Office. Meanwhile, the next day, investigators searched the houses of two parties involved in this case.

"From the three locations, evidence was found and secured including various documents related to the case," he told reporters, Monday, September 27.

Documents found will be matched for later confiscation. This is done to complete the files of the suspects in this bribery case, including those of Puput and Hasan.

"Furthermore, a match will be made regarding the relevance of the evidence referred to in this case and then a confiscation will be carried out to complete the case files for the suspect PTS et al," said Ali.

Previously, investigators from the anti-corruption commission also conducted searches in several places including the Probolinggo Regency PUPR Office, Probolinggo Regency Disperindag Office, and Probolinggo Regency Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) Office. At that time, the KPK found evidence in the form of documents.

In this bribery case of buying and selling positions, the KPK has named 22 people as suspects. They consist of 4 bribe recipients and 18 bribe givers.

Bribes were given so that they could serve as village head officials in the Probolinggo Regency Government. Each person is required to pay Rp. 20 million and the village land tribute of Rp. 5 million per hectare.

The four recipients were Probolinggo Regent Puput Tantriana Sari, DPR member Hasan Aminuddin, Krejengan sub-district head Doddy Kurniawan, and Paiton sub-district head Muhamad Ridwan.

While the 18 donors namely Sumanto, Ali Wafa, Mawardi, Mashudi, Maliha, Mohammad Bambang, Masruhen, Abdul Wafi, Kho'im, Akhmad Saifullah, Jaelani, Uhar, Nurul Hadi, Nuruh Huda, Hasan, Sahir, Sugito, and Syamsuddin as suspects giver. They are all state civil apparatus (ASN) in Probolinggo.
