KKB Terror: One Brimob Member Dies And Flees Into The Abyss

JAKARTA - The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) is back at it again by spreading terror. In their acts of terror, they did not hesitate to attack members of the TNI-Polri.

During the attack, KKB and members of the TNI-Polri exchanged fire. In fact, the gunfight resulted in a member of Brimob, Bharatu Muhammad Kurniadi Sutio, being shot dead.

"The shootout resulted in the death of one member of the Nemangkawi Task Force," said Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police, Kombes Mustafa Kamal, to VOI, Sunday, September 26.

The gun battle began when members of the TNI-Polri stood guard at the Kiwirok Police Station, on Sunday, September 26. However, at around 04.50 WIT, KKB members attacked and ended up shooting each other.

"Bharatu Muhammad Kurniadi Sutio received a gunshot wound under his right armpit," said Kamal.

Head of Lamek Alipki Taplo

After the gun battle ended, it was discovered that the KKB who carried out the attack was the leader of Lamek Alipki Taplo. This is known based on mapping and identification.

"The perpetrator from the KKB led by Lamek Alipki Taplo attacked while members of the TNI-Polri were guarding," said Kamal.

So, the Nemangkawi Task Force immediately conducted a sweep around the Kiwirok Police Station. Because, the possibility of KKB still around the location.

"Joint TNI-Polri personnel continue to pursue the Armed Criminal Group led by Lamek Alipki Taplo," said Kamal.

KKB Escapes Jumping Abyss

Then, after carrying out the attack that killed Bharatu Muhammad Kurniadi Sutio, KKB immediately fled. In fact, they fled by jumping into the abyss.

"It is known that the KKB jumped into a ravine and fled," said the Head of the Bintang Mountains Police, AKBP Cahyo Sukarnito.

However, it was not specified how many people or members of the KKB carried out the attack. So far, it has only been stated that the perpetrators are the Papuan KKB led by Lamek Alipki Taplo. This action killed a member of the Indonesian National Police, Bharatu Muhammad Kurniadi Sutio

Currently, members of the TNI-Polri are combing the vicinity of the incident location to hunt down the KKB members. Meanwhile, the body of Bharatu Muhammad Kurniadi Sutio is in the process of being evacuated.

Later, the body of Bharatu Muhammad Kurniadi Sutio will be taken to his hometown in Aceh.
