Seeing The Statue Of Bung Karno That Stands Strongly In Buleleng Bali

BULELENG - A metal statue of Indonesia's first President Soekarno as high as 8 meters has been installed in the Green Open Space (RTH) at Bung Karno Park, in Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency, Bali.

Head of the Buleleng Regency Environment Agency (LH), Gede Melandrat explained, the Bung Karno statue arrived in Buleleng three days ago.

Various heavy equipment equipment to raise the statue has been prepared. Today the statue of Bung Karno has been successfully raised on the pedestal.

"We and the contractor have for three days prepared the tools properly so that when the Bung Karno statue is raised, things don't happen that are not desirable," said Melandrat in a written statement, Wednesday, September 22.

The statue of Soekarno standing proudly wearing oversized clothes and a cap with his right hand pointing forward and his left hand holding a stick.

Melandrat said that further work on the arrangement of Bung Karno's green space is still in the finalization of the Ambara Raja Lion Statue and its stage. Then the wantilan work will be built on the Bung Karno Statue in a moment of sungkem.

"The construction of the Bung Karno Sungkem Statue in Wantilan will later be used as a place for Bung Karno's historical education, film performances and works of art will be displayed at the Wantilan," he explained.

The existence of the Bung Karno Statue has a huge impact, including becoming a national historical tourist destination. Melandrat also believes that the work on Bung Karno's RTH will be completed on time.

"Until today, the work on Bung Karno's RTH has reached more than 60 percent, we are sure that the work can be completed on time," he said.
