JAKARTA - The National Mandate Party (PAN) proposed the name of Soetrisno Bachir as a candidate for minister in the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin government. The chairman of the DKI Jakarta PAN DPW, Eko Hendro Purnomo alias Eko Patrio, said that Soetrisno was the right person to be included in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet because he had a good track record.

Personally, Eko wants Soetrisno Bachir or PAN chairman Zulkifli Hasan to be elected as Jokowi's assistant. However, the ketum is said to want to focus on managing the party.
