SURABAYA - The East Java High Prosecutor's Office has again detained a suspect in a fictitious credit case at Bank Jatim Kepanjen Branch, Malang Regency, after developing an investigation from the previous suspect, namely CF.
The Special Crimes Coordinator (Pidsus) of the East Java Prosecutor's Office, Teguh Ananto, said that the suspect, with the initials AN, was detained as a result of the development of the investigation of suspect CF, who we detained on September 16, 2021.

The Coordinator of Special Operations Unit, Teguh Ananto, explained the method by borrowing the names of other people to receive credit so that it was as if the credit requirements submitted by the debtor had all met the applicable terms and conditions.
"Due to the improper application process, the credits that have been disbursed have not been paid off and the installments are declared to be bad," he said.
Teguh emphasized that the detention of suspect AN was carried out to speed up the settlement of the case.
"Based on objective and subjective conditions, we have met the requirements to be detained. We have detained them for 20 days," he said.
