"From the CCTV footage, it can be identified that the perpetrator named Jefry was previously arrested by the Kuta Police in the same case," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Kuta Police, Bali AKP Made Yudistira, Tuesday, September 21.

The perpetrator stole the housewife's cellphone on Jalan Nyangnyang Sari, Kuta District, Badung, Bali. He stole the cellphone that the victim left on the refrigerator when he opened the shop.

"However, when he returned from the bathroom, the reporter who wanted to take the cellphone was missing or missing and reported it to the Kuta Police," said AKP Yudistira.

The police immediately investigated this theft case and arrested the perpetrator on Jalan Sesetan, South Denpasar.

From the interrogation, the perpetrator admitted that he had stolen mobile phones 5 times. Meanwhile, the last cell phone he stole was sold in Renon.

"The perpetrator admitted that the cellphone had been sold in the Renon area (Denpasar) for Rp 600 thousand," said Yudistira.

"The perpetrator also admitted that he had stolen cellphones in the South Denpasar area twice in 2021 (but) forgot the day and date," continued AKP Yudistira.
