The Story Of Katrina Sampe, Healthcare Worker In Kiwirok Who Survived The Pursuit Of KKB: 3 Days In The Gorge Only Drinks Rainwater

PAPUA - One of the health workers on duty in Kiwirok, Bintang Mountains Regency, Katrina Sampe told her tragic story when being hunted by the Lamek Taplo group KKB last Monday.

This story made an impression and left a deep trauma in his heart. Katriana admitted that she fell at most 500 meters into a ravine while being hunted by KKB using sharp weapons and arrows.

"I survived by drinking rain water for 3 days until finally being evacuated by the TNI-Polri," said Katrina in a trembling voice at Marthen Indey Hospital, Jayapura, Antara, Monday, September 20.

Due to this incident, Katriana Sampe suffered a blunt object stab wound to the thigh. He admitted that he did not want to work in remote areas anymore.

Katrina Sampe admitted that she had been a temporary health worker recruited by the Bintang Mountains Health Service for five years and only yesterday experienced an incident that will not be forgotten for the rest of her life.

"I don't want to go back to work in the interior, because of the trauma," he said

Kathrina was treated with several health workers who were victims in Kiwirok, namely dr. Restu Pamanggi, Katrianti Tandila, Emanuel Abi, and Kristina Sampe Tonapa.

Separately, Kapendam XVII Cenderawasih Col. Arm Reza stated that in addition to treating the wounds they suffered, they were also given assistance from psychologists to reduce the trauma they experienced.
