MAKASSAR - The Makassar Health Office (Dinkes), South Sulawesi has completed the verification of data on health workers (nakes) in the city as a requirement to disburse the health worker incentives that have not been paid since January 2021.

"The verification of health workers has been completed, so the incentives can be disbursed," said Acting Head of Makassar Health Office Nursaidah Sirajuddin in Makassa, quoted by Antara, Monday, September 20.

However, he said, the health worker incentive could not be immediately disbursed following the completion of the health worker data verification.

He explained that the disbursement process still takes time. There is a disbursement administrative process that must be completed again.

"The disbursement cannot be done immediately. There are still other stages. The target for disbursement is in the next 1-2 weeks," he said.

Previously, the Acting Head of the Makassar Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) Muh Dakhlan said that the payment of the health benefits was still in the finalization of the administrative process.

Health benefits that have not been paid since January 2021 reached Rp. 24 billion. The payment is waiting for health data from all health centers in Makassar City.

"The budget is ready, we just have to wait for the data input process from the puskesmas. From more than 40 puskesmas, there are only 1-2 puskesmas that have not been completed," he said.

The next process, the data from the puskesmas will be reported to the Ministry of Finance and then the payment of the health benefits will be made.
