BANDUNG - Police are investigating the discovery of a bullet projectile that strayed into a resident's house in Cibangkong, Batununggal District, Bandung City, West Java.

Batununggal Police Chief Iptu Muryadi said the bullet was suspected to have entered vertically from the roof of the house. The bullet was known to damage a number of residents' household equipment.

"The vertical from above is straight, exactly from above, not from the side. The position of the plastic fiber roof has no barrier, straight down, it hit the glass pot lid, it broke. And the projectile was found there," said Muryadi in Bandung, Antara, Monday, September 20.

According to him, the incident occurred on Sunday, September 19 yesterday and is known to the owner of the house. 9mm caliber bullet.

Muryadi said this resident's house was on the edge of the railroad tracks and there were no tall buildings around the location. When it happened, according to him, the resident of the house was surprised to hear the sound of broken plates. When checked, it turned out that there were bullets.

For further investigation, he will coordinate with PT Pindad which is located in the area where the bullet was found.

"We are coordinating there because the closest expertise is Pindad," he said.
