DEPOK - The Depok Metro Police Jaguar Team arrested eight perpetrators of a brawl between two groups in Pabuaran, Bojonggede, Depok, early this morning. From the hands of the perpetrators, the police secured a number of sharp weapons ranging from machetes, sickles and samurai. The commotion between the two groups, WN Family and Enjoy Italia, was triggered by revenge.

"From the two groups that fought between the WN Family from Pabuaran and Enjoy Italy in Citayam, eight people were successfully arrested along with ten sharp weapons of sickle and samurai types," said Head of Jaguar Police of Depok Metro Police Iptu Winam Agus accompanied by Brigadier Lungit to reporters, Sunday, September 19. .

Iptu Winam said that the clash between the two groups started because of revenge.

"From the results of the interrogation of the perpetrators from the Enjoy Family group from Citayam, many fell and were stabbed during a brawl against the WN Family. So there was a sense of revenge against the WN Family, but we managed to prevent members from moving quickly after carrying out cyber patrols, we can anticipate a brawl since early," he said.

In addition, the perpetrators, continued Iptu Winam, hid sharp weapons that would be used for the brawl in an empty house, Gang Merpati, Pabuaran Bojonggede, Bogor Regency.

"From our location, we secured the eight men not far from a private high school and then moved to another place in an empty house a few meters away, officers conducted a search and found ten samurai sharp weapons and swords allegedly prepared by the perpetrators for a brawl," he said.

In the brawl, Iptu Winam continued, there were two people who were still registered as students.

"Of the eight perpetrators, two of them are students at one of Jakarta's private universities and one of them is under the age of 16 years in 3rd grade of high school. Eight people have been arrested and we have handed over ten weapons of evidence to the Bojonggede Police for further legal action," he said.
