JAKARTA - The Madago Raya Task Force (Satgas) continues to search for four members of the East Indonesia Mujahidin (MIT) group who are still at large after shooting dead their leader, Ali Kalora, on Saturday, September 18 yesterday.

The four MIT members who are still at large are Askar Alias Jaid Alias Pak Guru, Nae Alias Galuh Alias Muklas, Suhardin Alias Hasan Pranata and Ahmad Gazali Alias Ahmad Panjang.

"It is hoped that the remaining Poso terrorist DPOs will immediately surrender before taking decisive action if they meet in the field," said Central Sulawesi Police Chief Inspector General Rudy Sufahriadi in a written statement, Sunday, September 19.

Furthermore, Rudy said Ali Kalora and a member named Ikrima alias Jaka Ramdhan alias Rama were confirmed dead after a gun battle that occurred on Saturday, September 18 at 18:00 WITA in Astina Village, Torue District, Parigi Moutung Regency.

In addition, he also said that he had secured a number of evidences including firearms and two different types of bombs.

"The Madago Raya Task Force has also secured evidence in the form of an M16 long-barreled firearm allegedly belonging to Ali Kalora, two backpacks, one Pull bomb, one burning bomb and others," said Rudy.

Previously reported, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD confirmed that MIT leader Ali Kalora was killed by hot lead by the Madago Raya Task Force along with his subordinate, Ikrima.

"The leader of the East Indonesia Mujahideen (MIT) Ali Kalora who once caused a stir because of the sadistic slaughter of many people in Central Sulawesi, after being on the run for almost a year, today was shot dead by Densus AT/88," Mahfud tweeted on his Twitter account, Saturday, September 18.

Besides Ali, he also said that another MIT member, Ikrima, was also killed by a bullet. Furthermore, Mahfud asked the community to maintain conduciveness after this incident.

"He was shot with one of his subordinates named Ikrimah. The public please calm down," added the former Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK).
