JAKARTA - Central Sulawesi Police Chief Inspector General Rudy Sufahriadi confirmed that the leader of the East Indonesia Mujahidin (MIT) Poso, Ali Kalora, and his subordinate, Ikrima alias Jaka Ramadhan, were killed in a shootout that occurred on Saturday, September 18 in Astina Village, Torue District, Parigi Moutung Regency.

He explained that the shootout between MIT and the Madago Raya Task Force occurred at 18.00 central Indonesia time. Rudy explained that both of them died at the scene.
