MANADO - The Maleo Satgassus Polda North Sulawesi (Sulut) arrested a 52-year-old man. He is suspected of being a specialist in the theft of 3-kilogram LPG cylinders whose actions were caught on CCTV.

The Head of Public Relations of the North Sulawesi Police, Kombes Jules Abraham Abast, said the perpetrator with the initials HD, who was a resident of Wonasa Kapling Manado, stole from a restaurant in the Wenang area, Manado.

"In carrying out the action, the perpetrator entered the crime scene (TKP) by climbing a wall fence," he said in Manado, reported by Antara, Friday, September 17. conduct an investigation using CCTV footage.

"The perpetrator was arrested around Bersehati Market, Manado, with evidence of six 3-kilogram LPG cylinders," said the former Head of Public Relations of the NTT Police.

He added that the perpetrator and the evidence had been secured at the Wenang Police for further investigation, and the case was still under development.

"It is suspected that the perpetrators have stolen approximately 38 LPG cylinders at several crime scenes. Other evidence is still being investigated, he said.
