Teenager Who Molested 2 Brothers And Sisters In North Sumatra Arrested By Police

MEDAN - A 16-year-old boy in North Tapanuli Regency (Taput), North Sumatra. This teenager was arrested for a sexual harassment case with the victim's brother and sister who are also minors.

Taput Police Chief AKBP Ronald FC Sipayung, through the Head of Subdivision of Public Relations Aiptu Walpon Baringbing, said the victim reported the crime of sexual harassment on Saturday, September 11. The perpetrator was arrested from his village on Wednesday, September 15.

After taking information from the perpetrators, investigators conducted a check on the location of the sexual harassment.

"From this result, our investigators made the perpetrator a suspect and then detained him for further investigation," Baringbing concluded, Thursday, September 16.

"The perpetrator with the initials (RSS) is also under the age of 16. This case involves purely a child, the perpetrator and two victims are both minors," said Aiptu Walpon Baringbing.

He explained that the arrest and detention of the suspect was carried out after the Women and Children Service Unit (PPA) found sufficient preliminary evidence.

"And, from the statements of the two victims on the report of NR's parents and corroborated by the results of the post-mortem which explained that they were victims of sexual harassment," he said.

"The brothers who were victims of sexual harassment, namely MR, this 8-year-old boy was sodomized and the 5-year-old TR girl had intercourse," he said.

"From this result, our investigators made the perpetrator a suspect and then detained him for further investigation," he said.

Regarding the modus operandi of the perpetrators of sexual harassment, our investigators are still investigating. From the perpetrator's confession, it was revealed that the act was carried out because he was influenced by pornographic films he watched on his cellphone.
