72 DKI Civil Servants Died Due To COVID-19 Over The Last 2 Months, Most Are Education Office Employees

JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government recorded that 72 DKI state civil servants (ASN) died when they were confirmed positive for COVID-19 for the period of July and August 2021.

This data is seen from the recapitulation of ASN employees of the DKI Provincial Government who were confirmed positive for COVID-19 by the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) of the DKI Jakarta Province.

"The recapitulation of the number of DKI Jakarta Provincial Government ASN who died due to COVID-19 for the period of July 2021 was 52 people and in August 20 people", wrote the Jakarta BKD data statement, quoted on Thursday, September 16.

Most ASNs who died due to COVID-19 came from the DKI Regional Education Office, namely 17 people who died in July and 7 people in August.

Meanwhile, DKI ASNs who were recorded to be exposed to COVID-19 in July were 94 people from 27 regional work units (SKPD). In detail, 81 people are undergoing isolation and 13 people are being treated.

In August there were 25 employees who were confirmed positive for COVID-19 from 15 Regional Work Units (SKPD). In detail, 23 people are undergoing isolation and 2 people are being treated.

It is known, the total number of confirmed cases in Jakarta to date is 855.424 cases. Of the total number of positive cases, a total of 838.680 people were declared cured with a cure rate of 98 percent, and a total of 13.455 people died with a death rate of 1.6 percent.

The number of active cases in Jakarta to date is 3.289 people who are still being treated or isolated. The positivity rate or percentage of positive cases in the last week in Jakarta was 1.5 percent, while the percentage of positive cases in total was 14.2 percent.
