Lieutenant General Dudung Abdurachman To Kostrad Soldiers In Bogor: It's Amazing When Other People Are Happy Because Of Your Kindness

JAKARTA - The Commander of Kostrad (Pangkostrad), Lt. Gen. Dudung Abdurachman and the Chairman of the Joint KCK Persit Kostrad Rahma came to the Kostrad line unit in Bogor, Wednesday, September 15 yesterday.

The working visit of Lieutenant General TNI Dudung began with a visit to the headquarters of Denpom Divif 1 Kostrad in Cimandala. Then moved to Yonkes 1 Kostrad (Sukaraja), Yonarmed 10 Kostrad (Cimandala) and the last one was Kostrad Transportation (Sukaraja).

As stated on the official Kostrad.mil.id website, the Kostrad Commander saw the condition of the base, including office facilities, housing for soldiers and defense equipment owned by the unit. Lt. Gen. Dudung wanted to know the real condition of the units he visited and to know the shortcomings of the units in the field.

During this working visit, the Kostrad Commander gave directions to all joint soldiers from the Denpom Division 1 Kostrad, Yonkes 1 Kostrad, Yonarmed 10 Kostrad and Kostrad Transportation, located in the Astros Cannon Garage for Yonarmed 10 Kostrad.

Pangkostrad said, Kostrad soldiers must become professional soldiers. To become a professional soldier, every Kostrad soldier is required to have high morals, a spirit of devotion and discipline, be responsible and uphold military honor.

The Kostrad Commander reminded all soldiers to always do good to others, because doing good to others will make us happy.

"Happy because other people do good to us is normal, but it will be even more extraordinary if other people can be happy because of your kindness," ordered the Kostrad Commander.

At the end of his briefing, the Kostrad Commander appealed to the soldiers not to be lazy to take care of the health of themselves and their families, because the COVID-19 pandemic is still not over.

"Always apply health protocols wherever you are, maintain cleanliness and do the 5 M, namely washing hands, wearing masks, maintaining distance, staying away from crowds and reducing mobility," he said.

Previously, Lieutenant General Dudung was trending on Twitter due to one of his remarks when he came to the 9th Zipur Battalion of Kostrad, Ujungberung, Bandung, West Java, Monday, September 13 yesterday.

In his direction to members, Pangkostrad Dudung conveyed that during the COVID-19 pandemic, always prioritize a positive mindset regarding health, because one of the sources of illness comes from the mindset. Pangkostrad Dudung also appealed to all soldiers to always be grateful, whatever rank they currently have. All humans have their own problems.

In addition, the Kostrad Commander did not forget to remind the soldiers to be smart in responding to the news circulating, especially on social media. Do not easily send news that has not been accounted for, or provoked by hoax news. The most important thing is to avoid being too fanatical about a religion. Because all religions are true in the eyes of God.
