9 Myanmar Fishermen Who Steal Fish Escape From Belawan PSDKP Station

MEDAN - Nine fishermen from Myanmar fled from the Belawan Marine and Fisheries Resources Monitoring Station (PSDKP), Medan City. The fishermen who fled were previously arrested for stealing fish in Indonesian waters.

The Coordinator of the PSDKP Supervision OPS, Josia Suarta Sembiring, when confirmed, confirmed the information on the escape of the nine foreign fishermen.

"Yes, they escaped by breaking the iron bars," said Josia Suarta Sembiring to reporters, Wednesday, September 15.

The nine fishermen from Myanmar fled the shelter location on Saturday, September 11. Currently, his party continues to search for the nine foreign fishermen.

"Until now we are still looking for it. We are also assisted by a team from the North Sumatra Police Polairud," he said.

The nine fishermen are Win Soe alias Aung Win (39) tekong KM SLFA 4598 GT 38.39; Soe Hlaing (40) tekong KM PK 6911 F GT 55.9; Naing Naing (36) tekong KM SLFA 5124 GT 15.88; Kyaw Mie Posts (26) ABK; Yu Win alias More (29) ABK; Hein Ye Htet aka Ye Ye (ABK); Mau Aung (33) crew member; Zaw Htwe (21) crew and Khin Hyun (32) crew.

The nine fishermen who fled were accommodated at the Belawan PSDKP Station waiting for the process to be returned to their home countries.

Josia appealed to the public who saw the foreign fishermen to immediately report to the authorities. The characteristics of the foreign fishermen who fled were all bald-headed.
