JAKARTA - Social media activist Hersubeno Arief said that the statement about Megawati Soekarnoputri's condition, which was said to be 1,000 percent coma, was purely a journalistic work.

The statement was in response to the report made by the DPD PDIP to the Polda Metro Jaya. Reports are registered with the number LP/B/4565/IX/2021/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA.

"This is a product of FNN journalism. The responsibility is in the Red Cross," Hersubeno told VOI, Wednesday, September 15.

Confirmed separately, the Editor-in-Chief (Pemred) of FNN, Mangarahon Dongaran said the narrative read by Hersubeno was a journalistic work. The narrative was already prepared.

"Yes, the content is prepared in the form of content," said Mangarahon.

But Mangarahon emphasized that the narrative did not directly confirm if Megawati was in a coma. Because, in the narrative it still contains an element of questioning.

"But that's also if you watch it in full, he doesn't sentence that he (Megawati) is sick, I'm just not sure too. There are words like that, right," he said.

Mangarahon highlighted the evidence attached by the reporting party. According to him, the evidence in the form of video is suspected to be incomplete.

"It's 1000 percent valid, it's still a question mark, Mas Hersu. There's a question mark there. That's what we said was suspected of being cut into pieces," he said.

On the other hand, Mangarahon stated that if this case is still being processed by law, then his party will be ready to face it. He will prepare evidence stating that the narrative is not a slander or a hoax, but rather a question.
