Action Marines Practice Amphibious Landing At Banongan Beach Situbondo

SITUBONDO - Indonesian Navy Marine Corps soldiers practice amphibious landing, at Banongan Beach, Asembagus, Situbondo, East Java.

This training involved Infantry, Cavalry, Artillery and combat assistance soldiers from the ranks of Pasmar 2.

They joined the landing squad with Danpasrat Marine Lieutenant Colonel Widarta Kusuma.

This exercise is carried out to improve the combat ability and professionalism of soldiers according to their respective weapons.

In addition, the training is intended to test the abilities and skills of leadership functions in the field, from the group level to the battalion commander.

"The ability and understanding of techniques/tactics for deploying field units in a coordinated and integrated manner within the ranks of Pasmar 2 and mastering the coordination process between weapons in the field," said Wadan Pasmar 2 Marine Colonel Purwanto Djoko Prasetyo in a written statement, Wednesday, September 15.

The combat equipment used are BMP-3F, BTR 60, PT-76, RM 70 Vampire, 105 mm Howitzer cannon and BVP-2, three KRIs, cassa aircraft and helly bell.

The training materials include combat jumps, special landings, amphibious landings, urban combat, mobut operations, special landings and others. The exercise lasts until September 17, 2021.

"Hopefully we can realize preparedness in the face of every threat that disturbs the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia," he said.
