Gibran Praises Anies For Handling COVID-19, Gerindra Legislator: The Fact Is That

JAKARTA - Member of the Gerindra Faction of the DKI DPRD, Iman Satria, responded to the praise of the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, to the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, regarding the handling of COVID-19 in Jakarta.

According to Iman, Anies' steps in tackling the COVID-19 pandemic in the capital city should indeed be imitated by other regions. Because, he said, all ranks of the DKI Provincial Government to the community have participated in dealing with the pandemic.

"Let's just look at the facts. It's not because I also support Anies, but that's the fact. All the pillars came down, all the people helped, finally COVID-19 can be handled properly," said Iman at the DKI DPRD Building, Monday, September 13.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic situation in Jakarta has improved, Iman views that the transmission of the corona virus can increase rapidly if all parties are not vigilant.

"But I remind you again to the Health Office, don't let us be careless because COVID-19 is like a tsunami. Calm down, suddenly he hit him in the back. Hopefully we stay on guard, so that later if there is anything we can quickly handle it," he said.

Previously, Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka admitted that he always gave an example of DKI Jakarta every time a meeting discussed handling COVID-19 in his area.
