Moeldoko Officially Reports ICW Researchers About Allegations Of Rente Hunters To The Criminal Investigation Agency

JAKARTA - Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) Moeldoko has officially reported Egi Primayoha and Miftah, researchers from Corruption Watch (ICW) to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police. The report relates to allegations of defamation regarding allegations of rent-seeking.

"I am Moeldoko as a law-abiding citizen and this afternoon I reported brothers Egi and Miftah for having polluted me," said Moeldoko to reporters, Friday, September 10.

The decision to report the two ICW researchers was because his patience had run out. Because, Moeldoko has given a deadline for them to explain or clarify the allegations.

However, according to Moeldoko, ICW researchers have never done it until now. In fact, it does not show good faith.

Moeldoko's report is registered with the number LP/B/0541/IX/2021/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI dated 10 September 2021.

"I've actually given the opportunity repeatedly to be able to explain properly, provide evidence and if that can't be done I give another chance to apologize and withdraw," said Moeldoko.

"But until now, good faith has not been carried out, I am forced as a citizen who has the same rights as others," he continued.

Previously, Moeldoko had emphasized that he and his daughter, Joanina Novinda Rachman had nothing to do with PT Harsen Laboratories as the producer of Ivermectin which is now a COVID-19 drug.

This answers allegations of his involvement with PT Harsen Laboratories, which is the manufacturer of the drug Ivermectin. The request was sent through a subpoena.

In addition, Moeldoko also demanded that ICW researcher Egi Primayogha submit evidence for the accusations which he considered slander.
