Using The Luxury House Of Racik Shabu, 2 Foreigners From Iran Have A New Mode Of 'importing' Methamphetamine From Turkey

JAKARTA - The police have uncovered a new mode used by an international network of shabu-type narcotics trafficking syndicates from Iran. They 'import' semi-finished methamphetamine in the form of a gel.

"The new mode sent here is the semi-finished material, in the form of a gel," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Thursday, September 9.

In this case, two foreign nationals (foreigners) from Iran were also arrested. They have the initials BF and FS.

From the results of the investigation and examination, the suspect is BF who is the mastermind of the crime. Because he was the one who smuggled the semi-finished methamphetamine into Indonesia.

Even the semi-finished methamphetamine, Yusri continued, was obtained by the suspect BF from Turkey. He has a network, so just order and later the semi-finished meth will be delivered.

Not only smuggling, they also process the semi-finished meth until it is ready for distribution. In the processing, they use a luxury house in the Kelapa Dua area, South Tangerang, as a disguise.

"It was the two of them who carried out the activity of making a home industry for this type of shabu-shabu," said Yusri.

At the time of his arrest, the police found evidence of methamphetamine weighing 4.6 kilograms. That number is relatively small. Because, in one production of methamphetamine they produce dozens to tens of kilograms.

In fact, their meth is said to have above average purity. This means that their meth is of the highest quality.

"Every month they are able to make 15-20 kilos," said Yusri.

For their actions, they face life imprisonment or the death penalty. Because, both of them are suspected of Article 113 subsidiary 114 as well as subsidiary 112 juncto 132 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics.

Previously, the West Jakarta Metro Police arrested a foreigner from Iran in a luxury housing estate. From the arrest, it was developed and found 5 large packet bags containing methamphetamine.

The coir was found in an apartment unit in the Cikini area, Central Jakarta. The methamphetamine was stored in a suitcase hidden in a cupboard.
