BLITAR - Police Resort Blitar, East Java, mediate the case of theft of baby milk by two mothers and shop owners.

"Both parties have mediated and neither has any objections. The victims have also been heartened to forgive the women's actions," said Blitar Police Chief AKBP Adhitya Panji Anom, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, September 8.

He said that the mothers involved in the theft case had also made an agreement not to do the same thing. "So that both parties make a peace agreement, there are no more demands," he said.

In the case of theft involving women, the status is now restorative justice. With that, it is hoped that this is the best solution for both parties.

"So, the peace agreement already exists and the victim withdraws the report. We see that the loss is not too big, so we are restorative justice and this is as expected," said AKBP Adhitya

The police chief emphasized that there were no fees whatsoever in the case of withdrawing the report. Currently members stop the investigation process after there is an agreement from both parties.

Previously, the Blitar Police had handled a theft case involving two women, namely MRS (55) and YLT (29), residents of Kotalama Village, Kedungkandang District, Malang.

The two were reported to have stolen baby milk, various baby oils, and snacks. The thefts were carried out in two locations in the Blitar Regency area on Tuesday, August 31.

MRS told the police that she had come to Ngeni Village, Wonotirto District, Blitar Regency, to look for her husband's brother. This search was carried out because her husband was paralyzed and needed the help of his brother in Blitar.

MRS came to Blitar with her niece, YLT, with her three-month-old baby. They claimed to have been in Blitar for the past three months.

Meanwhile, the case involving the two mothers also went viral. In fact, the famous lawyer, Hotman Paris Hutapea, through his Instagram social network account @hotmanparisofficial, on behalf of the two mothers apologized to the shop owner. In fact, he intends to compensate the shop owner whose goods were stolen.
