Kang Emil said he was proud and happy for the achievements of athletes from West Java at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.
The Governor of West Java's special appreciation was addressed to the two athletes who contributed medals, namely Hari Susanto and Dheva Anrimusthi from the badminton sport.
Hary Susanto from Majalengka Regency won gold from the mixed doubles number with his partner Leani Ratri Oktila who in the final defeated the French mixed doubles.
Meanwhile, Dheva Anrimusthi, who won a silver medal in the men's singles event, is an athlete from Kuningan Regency.

He also expressed his gratitude to all the athletes who competed in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.
Although some have not been able to donate medals, their appreciation for their struggle to defend the country is highly appreciated.
Ridwan Kamil also invited West Java athletes to Gedung Sate to receive direct congratulations and appreciation when the team and officials arrived in the country.
