The KPK has named Budhi Sarwono and Kedy Afandi from the private sector as suspects in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of goods and services at the Banjarnegara Regency Government, Central Java, in 2017-2018.

"I never received at all. Please show me who gave it," said Budhi.

He denies owning the Bumi Redjo company which he says is owned by his parents and has never participated in the project.

"The Bumi Redjo company belongs to my parents, not mine. Not participating in (the project)," said Budhi, stressing that he would follow the legal process.

"I leave everything to the law. I as a citizen (Indonesian citizen) obey the law," said Budhi.

Budhi and Kedy are suspected of violating Article 12 letter i and Article 12 B of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.

The KPK detained the two for the next 20 days from September 3, 2021 to September 22, 2021.

Budhi is being held at the KPK Detention Center in Lot C1 (KPK Anti-Corruption Education Center Building), Jakarta, while Kedy is being held at the KPK Detention Center Pomdam Jaya Guntur Branch, Jakarta.
