JAKARTA - Komika Reza Pardede alias Coki Pardede was arrested for a case of methamphetamine. In the process of handling this case, several facts emerged, ranging from Coki who had stopped to the strange way of consuming methamphetamine.

In this case, Coki was arrested at his residence in the Cisauk area, South Tangerang, Wednesday, September 1. From the arrest, the police confiscated a package of methamphetamine

Not only that, the police also arrested Coki's shabu supplier. He is someone with the initials W.

After being arrested, Coki was immediately examined. To the eccentric comic investigator, he conveyed several confessions. One of them had stopped consuming methamphetamine.

"He stopped for a while," said Tangerang Metro Police Narcotics Head AKBP Pratomo Widodo to reporters, Thursday, September 2.

Even though he had decided not to consume methamphetamine, Coki seemed tempted. So, he returned to using the forbidden item.

"He's already more or less when he quits for 5 months, he'll be charging again," said Pratomo.

Although the reason behind Coki Pardede's return to being a user is not clear, Pratomo suspects that the comic has become addicted.

"He seems to be addicted to it," said Pratomo.

From the examination, it was also known that Coki Pardede consumed methamphetamine in order to gain confidence. Moreover, his work as a comedian requires high self-confidence.

"First, try to be confident in appearing in public," he said.

In addition, in the case of Coki Pardede, there is one thing that attracts attention, namely, the strange way of consuming shabu. Because, he mixed meth with water and then injected.

"He did use it in a different way. It was mixed into a syringe, (and) mixed with water," said Pratomo.

This method of consumption was the reason the syringe was found in his room during the search.

Although Coki's method of consuming methamphetamine is different, said Pratomo, this is nothing new. This way of consuming is indeed used other than burning.

On the other hand, Coki has also undergone a urine test. As a result, the quirky comic was positive for amphetamines.

"The results of the urine test have been tested and are positive for amphetamine," said Pratomo.
