Ex-Assistant Magdalena Take Mode Who Successfully Takes Up To IDR 2.4 Billion

JAKARTA - Food vlogger Magdalena Fridawati aka Mgdalena reported her former assistant with the initials GC on suspicion of fraud and embezzlement. The mode used is to change the endorsement invoice data.

"The reported method is changing the contents of the invoice which should include the account number belonging to the reporting party, but without the informant's knowledge it was changed to a personal account number belonging to the reported person", said Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Yusri Yunus, to reporters Thursday, September 2.

With that mode, Magdalena suffered a loss of IDR 2.4 billion. In fact, it is strongly suspected that the alleged embezzlement has been going on for quite a long time. Considering that the reported party has worked for approximately one year.

"She reported this GC sister because of a fraudulent embezzlement amounting to IDR 2 billion 423 million", said Yusri.

 

"Reported is a former employee herself. The work every day is her admin endorsement who has worked for almost a year with her", he continued.

The report is registered with the number LP/B/3893/VIII/2021/SPKT POLDA METRO JAYA, August 12, 2021. Currently, the handling of the case is still in the investigation stage.

"This is still a process. We have checked and clarified the reporter in accordance with the evidence and witnesses she reported", said Yusri.
