Frequently Changing Locations, Handsome Artist Scam Wolf Arrested In Palembang

JAKARTA - The West Jakarta Metro Police finally arrested AH, a man who claimed to be an official envoy of President Jokowi. AH was arrested in Palembang, South Sumatra after police conducted an investigation at AH's house in the Taman Villa Mulia complex, Kembangan, West Jakarta. Police said AH often moved from place to place to avoid being chased.

AH was arrested based on a report by artist Fahri Azmi, actor in the film Ganteng-ganteng Serigala on suspicion of fraud. Head of the West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Kompol Joko Dwi Harsono, said that it was true that his party had arrested AH.

"It's true, our members have arrested the perpetrators," said Commissioner Joko Dwi Harsono when confirmed by reporters, Sunday, August 29.

Police officers could not provide further details regarding the arrest of AH. Head of the General Criminal Investigation Unit (Krimum) of the West Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Avrilendy, said the alleged fraud case by AH would be held after conducting an in-depth examination of the perpetrators.

"We brought the perpetrators to the West Jakarta Police Headquarters, for further information will be conveyed upon release," said Avril.

Previously, the police had searched AH's house, which is located in the Taman Villa Mulia Complex, Kembangan, West Jakarta, Friday (27/8/2021).

The police even broke down the locked door of the house. However, the police did not find the whereabouts of AH, only found some evidence related to the alleged fraud he did.
