Held Physical Meeting, Commission VII DPR Announces 10 Positive People Of COVID-19

JAKARTA - The People's Representative Council (DPR) of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) has just started its activities again by holding a limited number of physical meetings at the DPR Building. This is in line with the new normal scenario proclaimed by the government. However, this raises new problems.

At a working meeting between Commission VII and the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Nicke Widyawati, Deputy Chairman of Commission VII Alex Noerdin conveyed important information in the middle of the meeting from the leadership table.

Alex Noerdin announced that meeting attendees adhere to health protocols. Because, just today in the DPR RI Building, it was reported that 10 people were reported positive for COVID-19.

"Ladies and gentlemen, important announcements. I just received news 5 minutes ago on the top floor, I did not mention which floor, 10 people were found positive," he said, at the DPR Commission VII working meeting with the President Director of Pertamina, Monday, June 29.

Then, Alex reminded everyone who attended the meeting to comply with health protocols. For example, you must use a mask, keep your distance until you wash your hands diligently and use a hand sanitizer.

"Follow the health protocol. So please obey the health protocol," he said.

As is well known, Commission VII itself is currently holding a hearing with PT Pertamina (Persero). During the meeting discussed about the restructuring and also the discourse of an IPO that will be carried out by the sub-holding company.
