Minister Of Manpower Reminds Companies In The Essential Sector To Tighten Prokes

JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah reminded companies operating in the essential sector to strictly implement health protocols, along with the issuance of a policy that allows 100 percent of workers to work in the workplace.

"We have to make sure that the health protocol is running well and according to the direction of Mr. President Jokowi. If any of the workers are found to be positive, the company will be closed for five days," said the Minister of Manpower, quoted by Antara, Friday, August 27.

Ida made this statement while reviewing and socializing the application of health protocols for essential category companies at PT Panasonic Gobel Solutions Manufacturing Indonesia, Pasuruan, East Java.

During his visit, the Minister of Manpower wanted to directly ensure that companies actually implement health protocols following the relaxation provided by the government for company operations.

"I, together with the National Tripartite LKS, saw firsthand the health protocol, because Panasonic is one of the essential sectors that are allowed to reopen with strict procedures and use the PeduliLindung application," he said.

The implementation of health protocols by utilizing applications such as PeduliLindung, said Ida, would increase the effectiveness of preventing the transmission of COVID-19.

Not only that, through the PeduliLindung application, it is possible to know the condition of workers related to vaccinations and also the implementation of health protocols at the company.

"With this application, it can be seen that workers have been vaccinated or not, and confirmed positive for COVID-19 or not. With that we can suppress the spread and transmission of COVID-19," he said.

So that the implementation of health protocols can run optimally in essential sector companies, the Minister of Manpower also asks for the role and cooperation of all parties, including local governments in supervising these health protocols.
